Fornaro is a scientific photographer, physicist and electrical engineer. He has been working in the field of analogue and digital photography, digital archiving and colour science since 1996.
He teaches at the Universities of Basel, Geneva and Lugano in the fields of photography, colour science and digital cultural heritage.
