Gabriel S. R. Muller studied art history, theory and history of photography and film sciences at University of Zurich and completed his master’s degree magna cum laude in art history and visual theory at University of Basel. He wrote his master’s thesis on René Burris photobook “Die Deutschen”. After assisting several years in the Books & Autographs department of Koller Auctions Ltd., he founded the department of Photography and became head of the department, until 2023. He then got self-employed working as antiquarian bookseller and art dealer specialized in Photography. In 2024 he could participate for the first time at Photo Basel fair and organized his first pop-up exhibition in Zurich.
Offering estimations/ valuations, consulting, assignments, expertises and scientific documentation for selling a photographic artwork. Historical, vintages and also contemporary photographs.
