Sophie Junge
Brief Biography
Sophie Junge is a postdoc researcher and senior assistant at the Institute of Art History at the University of Zurich where she received her PhD from in 2013. She is the author of the book Art against AIDS: Nan Goldin's Exhibition Witnesses: Against Our Vanishing (Berlin/Boston 2016). Her current research focuses on photography and picture postcards from Southeast Asia around 1900, transnational colonialism as well as artistic activism in 20th century American art.
