Brief Biography

Christophe Guye has been working as a gallery owner and art dealer for contemporary photography since 2006, the same year he opened his first gallery SCALO|GUYE in Los Angeles. He has been based in Zurich with his present gallery CHRISTOPHE GUYE GALERIE since 2010, which represents numerous nationally and internationally renowned artists who consider the medium of photography within the larger context of current art practices. During this time, he had organised over a hundred exhibitions in galleries, cultural institutions and at art fairs in Switzerland and abroad. Furthermore, he advises many private art collectors as well as institutional collections on the development and expansion of their collections. Prior to this activity, he was the owner and managing director of a communications agency in Zurich for 15 years, which was bought by an international agency network in 2004.
