Invitation: Swiss Photobooks 2026

Dear Spectrum members,

We would like to invite you to this year's photobook presentation with Pro Helvetia during Paris Photo and remind you to send us your projects for What's Next 2027.

Swiss Photobooks 2026 @ Paris Photo

On the occasion of Paris Photo, we are delighted to invite you to the presentation of Swiss Photo Books 2026 at Centre culturel suisse in Paris on Thursday, 12 November 2026, 16.00 – 20.00.

This new edition showcases the vitality of contemporary photography in Switzerland through a selection of recent publications. The selection has been curated by Spectrum – Photography in Switzerland from among publications recently supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.

The featured publications highlight the diversity of practices and forms within contemporary photobook publishing. Ranging from documentary projects rooted in established photographic traditions to more experimental works that explore the book as a creative medium, they demonstrate the many ways in which images, texts and editorial forms can interact.

Selected Publications

  • Marie-Pierre Cravedi, Amato (Rue du Bouquet)
  • Karla Hiraldo Voleau, Doble Moral (Chose Commune)
  • Henry Leutwyler, Swiss Camera Museum (Steidl Verlag)
  • Augustin Rebetez, Zavtra Nikogda (Label Rapace)
  • Carlo Rusca, 248-CH (Distanz Verlag)
  • Jean-Vincent Simonet, Cyan Years (Loose Joints)

The event is organised by Spectrum – Photography in Switzerland, the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and the Centre culturel suisse. Paris, with Rio Basel responsible for the exhibition design and scenography.
